♪Garden ft.TENGABEAT(Spiral Life Cover) by microtone
こんにちは。今日は、音楽のお知らせです。レーベルをやろうと思ってからmictrotoneちゃんのファーストリリースのお知らせです。しかもあろうことにマイスペで。
Gardenは、スパイラルライフの中でも好きな人が多い曲なのではないかと思います。1995年に発売された、”FREAKS OF GO GO SPECTATORS”という作品の確か最後の曲だったかと思うのですが、次のアルバムのプレビューみたいな感じで入っていたのを聴いたのが最初でした。あの頃はCDウォークマンでリピート再生！15年後に、まだ音楽をやっていて、世の中がこんな風になって、自分がカヴァーするとは思いませんでした。
ヴォーカルは、出そうで出ない、ヒップホップお兄さんズ、TENGABEATのショウジ君と、その時前の録音で居合わせたStrawberry Machineのオカベさんにサビのコーラスをお願いしました。ジャケットに登場しているのは、歌ってる本人と、去年の夏に静岡で呑みにいく前のコーナーショップで撮影したFujiko Moreちゃん。
まあ、カヴァーということで、歌も仮っぽいし、マスタリングもまだ。軽ーく聞き流してもらえれば幸いですが、色々な人達のお陰で思いのほか良い出来になりました。

Hi. I have an infomation today. The first remix of microtone, Garden by Spiral Life, is going to be released to Myspace. This is one of the popular songs of Spiral Life, isn’t it? I still remember that it is the last song of “FREAKS OF GO GO SPECTATORS” released in 1995 and I was hooked on it, repeatedly listened to it by CD walkman. In those days, I never imagined to keep on making music like this and remix the song I yearned.
The singers are Shoji of TENGABEAT and Okabe-sun of Strawberry Machine who happened to be with us at a recording studio. She was willing to chorus it, in spite that I suddenly requested her.
Pictures of it’s jacket are Shoji and Fujikomore which I took at a Corner Shop last summer. Before having a drink with them, we dropped by there to check records.
I haven’t finished yet, even mastering, but I hope you have a listen to it.
