PCでDJをする時に、一番悩むのはなんでしょう？僕の場合は、ラップトップをどこに置くか？というのがもっとも心配事項です。飛び入りでDJをする時、（滅多に無いが）怖そうな先輩DJがたむろする、そのDJブースに自分のPCを持ち込むのは結構勇気が要ります。おなじみNORETURNで渋谷に出かける時、ただでさえ荷物が多いのに、スタンドをバッグに詰め込むのも、いっそDJを放棄したくなる。真っ黒い、格好悪いPCスタンドの組み立てねじを家に忘れた時は、気を失いそうになる。
ターンテーブルのふたをして、その上に乗せるというのがわりとポピュラーですが、これだとレコードのロングミックスを諦めなくてはいけません。今、いかに安く、美しく、機能的にラップトップをDJブースに設置するかを研究中。そして設置と片付けは手早く。
写真はその試作参号機です。ラウンドを多く使ったステンレススチールにバフ研磨。これは、iPhoneのディスプレーフレームとまったく同じ質調で、指紋が付きやすいがとても美しい。組み立てには工具を使わずにZig方式と名付けた組み立て方法を採用しています。これがネーミングの由来。
仕事ってのは流されて放っておくとどんどんつまらなくなって、最後には腐って死にそうになる。仕事でも好きなものを追い求めたい、追い求めて良いんだ、じゃあ追い求めようよ、という思いで、このようなささやかなものを親兄弟と仲間たちで経営する会社で開発しています。このスタンドが欲しい方、一緒にデザインしたい方、ご自分の顔を彫りたい方、募集中です。

What do you need when you play DJ? For me, it’s a space to put my laptop. When I’m invited as a DJ and find my space for a PC in a booth where main DJ occupies, I become nervous. When I go to Shibuya for NR DJ with a heavy bag filled with records, a PC and a it’s stand etc, it’s depressing to think about it. Furthermore, when I left an uncool black screw for a laptop stand in home, I’m about to faint.
It seems popular to cover a turntable and put a PC on it, but which makes it impossible to play a long mix. That’s why I’ve made a laptop stand which is a cool, functional and reasonable.
This picture is the prototype I made. It’s surface is the same of iPhone. It featured the design and functionality. You can set it without any tools.
The work without any idea, improvement makes me bored. Although I work at a company, I also want to do what I like. It may turn into a business. This stand is still under improvement, but if you want this stand, contact me, please.
